Senior Product Manager, D2C
Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic product team in New York City, focusing on developing and enhancing our direct-to-consumer (D2C) product solutions. This role is integral to our mission of delivering innovative products that serve both our customers and internal teams, aligning with Sony Music's commitment to artistic integrity and technological advancement.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Product Management to execute the long-term product vision. Your responsibilities will include translating the product roadmap into a streamlined backlog, coordinating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams, and driving the completion of tasks. You will also manage agile processes, participate in ceremonies, build relationships with stakeholders across Sony Music groups, gather requirements, and translate them into user stories. Additionally, you will be involved in launch planning and execution, implement KPI tracking to measure success, and communicate priorities effectively to business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully executing and launching features that drive long-term roadmaps. You should possess strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to drive complex projects in an agile environment, and excellent communication and presentation abilities. A deep understanding of the Shopify Plus ecosystem, particularly for enterprise applications, and familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modern data tools such as Snowflake and Sigma are essential. Experience in the music industry, data, fan engagement, mobile applications, ERP integrations (especially NetSuite), and managing global product roadmaps are considered advantageous.
