Senior Product Manager, Developer Productivity
Webflow is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Developer Productivity engineering team, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Webflow's engineering processes. This team is responsible for the end-to-end developer experience, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), build systems, internal tooling, developer environments, and observability. The role is pivotal in driving foundational platform investments that significantly impact team velocity and overall productivity.
In this position, the Senior Product Manager will translate engineering team needs into a clear, prioritized roadmap, collaborating closely with engineering counterparts to focus on high-impact work. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting on developer experience metrics to identify bottlenecks, measuring progress, and advocating for necessary improvements. The role also involves partnering with engineers, technical program managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to scope and deliver platform enhancements that reduce friction across CI/CD, build systems, developer environments, and observability. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager will evaluate and champion the integration of AI and agentic tooling into developer workflows, assessing their effectiveness and guiding the team in their adoption.
The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, along with over three years of product management experience. A hands-on engineering background or direct product management ownership of developer experience, developer productivity, or platform/infrastructure products is essential. Proficiency in reading code, engaging with technical architecture documents, and effectively communicating with engineering teams is required. Familiarity with developer tooling such as CI/CD systems, build pipelines, observability platforms, and local development environments is crucial. The candidate should also be fluent in developer productivity metrics and have hands-on experience with AI and agentic systems, understanding their integration into developer workflows.
