Staff Software Engineer, Developer Productivity
Webflow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Developer Productivity to lead and enhance the company's software development processes. This role involves defining and driving the end-to-end deployment strategy, focusing on reducing cycle time, increasing reliability, and enabling a world-class developer experience. The primary responsibilities include owning and evolving Webflow's GitOps-based deployment platform, ensuring scalability and reliability. The engineer will design and implement progressive delivery mechanisms such as canary releases, blue/green deployments, and feature flags. Additionally, the role involves setting technical direction across teams, establishing best practices for CI/CD, and building internal tooling to improve testing and deployment workflows.
Candidates should have a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with 7+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. Deep expertise in modern deployment systems, including Kubernetes, GitOps workflows, and tools like ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts, is essential. Experience in designing and scaling CI/CD systems for large engineering organizations, along with strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Docker), and distributed systems, is required.
