This position involves close collaboration with the Customer Success Management (CSM) team to foster strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include identifying renewal opportunities within assigned accounts and executing effective selling strategies, including proposal development and negotiations. The role requires maintaining revenue by ensuring client retention and managing renewals across the Greater China Region. Additionally, the Sales Manager will collaborate with the CSM team and other Appier functions to ensure client satisfaction, participate in customer quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and work with business leaders to nurture partnerships and business ecosystems in the region.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in sales or account management within the enterprise software sector. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for developing relationships with key decision-makers. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the Greater China Region's enterprise software ecosystem is crucial, along with comfortable fluency in English for internal communication. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Professional knowledge of data and AI product terminology, trends, and concepts is advantageous. Experience handling large enterprise-level accounts and selling SaaS solutions, particularly in marketing systems, chat, analytics, or customer data platforms (CDP), is beneficial. Experience working with e-commerce or retail verticals is also a plus.
