Senior Scientist, Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics (DMPK)
Prime Medicine is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Scientist to join the Nonclinical Development group, contributing to the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) function. This role supports exploratory and IND-enabling programs across Prime Medicine’s pipeline, focusing on gene editing therapies. The position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The Senior Scientist will independently analyze and interpret pharmacokinetic (PK) study data from in vivo studies, perform non-compartmental analysis using Phoenix WinNonlin, and provide recommendations for in vivo study designs. Responsibilities also include bioanalytical assay development, contributing to nonclinical regulatory documents, and maintaining thorough records in the electronic laboratory notebook.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related discipline, with at least six years of industry experience in in vivo DMPK study design, execution, and interpretation. Proficiency in non-compartmental analysis using Phoenix WinNonlin or equivalent software is required, along with familiarity with regulatory expectations for nonclinical DMPK assessments and bioanalytical assay development.
