The position offers an opportunity to address security challenges at the intersection of large-scale cloud infrastructure and specialized hardware.
Key responsibilities include building and scaling AI-powered triage workflows by evaluating tools such as LLM integration and TINES orchestration, and deploying these solutions into production. The engineer will drive risk-based vulnerability prioritization, design and implement automated detection-to-ticket pipelines, and execute remediation campaigns for tasks like end-of-life product removal and software upgrades. Additionally, the role involves managing embargoed vendor disclosures, leading security incident investigations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enforce service level agreements and escalate issues as needed.
Candidates should have over seven years of experience in vulnerability management, application security, platform security, or cloud security engineering. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in building security automation tools, a strong development background in languages like Python or Go, and familiarity with modern vulnerability management platforms are essential. The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and a solid understanding of common security vulnerabilities are also important.
The base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $242,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. The total compensation package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program. Benefits encompass medical, dental, and vision insurance fully paid by CoreWeave, company-paid life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), mental wellness benefits, family-forming support, paid parental leave, flexible childcare support, a 401(k) plan with a generous employer match, flexible paid time off, and a casual work environment.
CoreWeave fosters a culture focused on innovative disruption, offering employees the chance to work on cutting-edge AI infrastructure projects. The company supports a hybrid work environment, with remote work considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements. New hires are invited to attend onboarding at one of the company's hubs within their first month, and teams gather quarterly to support collaboration.
