Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Diligent Corporation is seeking a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our operations team for the MeetingSuite product in Munich. This role involves maintaining and enhancing our Kubernetes production platforms, ensuring high availability and security for our clients, including DAX 30 and other DACH customers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Application Security Engineer to uphold and advance our security standards.

Key responsibilities include operating and continuously improving Kubernetes production platforms to achieve zero-downtime upgrades and multi-AZ resilience. The role also involves developing and maintaining an ELK-based log platform for centralized cross-cluster monitoring and anomaly detection, as well as partnering with the Application Security Engineer on Kubernetes and container security aspects such as admission control, workload identity, secrets management, network segmentation, and runtime threat detection.

The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, with significant time spent managing production Kubernetes environments at scale. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, particularly in areas like cluster lifecycle, workload identity, admission control, network policies, or custom resources and operators, is essential. Additionally, a solid understanding of Kubernetes and container security practices, proficiency with the ELK stack, and familiarity with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines are required.
