Senior Software Engineer, Identity Management & Personalization (Remote)
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity Management & Personalization Team at ezCater, you will design, build, and maintain foundational services that manage user identity, authentication, and authorization. This role ensures secure access to our platform while protecting sensitive data at scale. Key responsibilities include modernizing our identity stack to enable building agentic features, utilizing distributed systems expertise to create scalable and fault-tolerant architectures, and collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to meet customer needs effectively. You will work on impactful projects that enhance growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction, with a continuous focus on improving system performance.
The ideal candidate has full-stack experience on a product engineering team, ideally in Go or Ruby on Rails, with over 5 years of professional software development experience. Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and a demonstrated ability to integrate them into daily engineering workflows is essential. Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML, deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably Postgres), and a background in designing and building large-scale systems are also required. A desire to work on a backend-heavy platform team and an appetite for learning and experimentation are important.
The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $158,000–$190,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and region, and may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits such as equity, 401K, or medical, dental, or vision insurance.
