Senior Staff Engineer

Experian is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead the development of AI-powered applications within our Technology department. This role involves designing and deploying innovative solutions that enhance decision-making and automate workflows, leveraging pre-trained machine learning and generative AI models. The position is based in Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work model, requiring two days onsite per week.

Key responsibilities include researching and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies, developing and deploying AI models, and building scalable AI pipelines. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align machine learning solutions with business objectives, write clean and well-documented code, and participate in technical discussions and code reviews to support team growth.

Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in building data-driven products and solutions, with strong proficiency in Python and experience working in cloud environments with Databricks and AWS. Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, AI frameworks like LangChain, and AI APIs including OpenAI and Hugging Face is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities are also required.
