Senior Tax Accountant

is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its finance and tax team in Tysons, Virginia. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Tax, this role is integral to ensuring global compliance with tax laws and offers high visibility within the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, independent, and self-directed.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal departments to meet data request deadlines for ASC 740 tax provisions and compliance, assisting in the calculation and documentation of various ASC 740 differences, and supporting the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns. The role also involves managing income tax examinations and supporting continuous improvement of internal tax processes.

Candidates should have three to six years of tax experience in public accounting or a corporate tax function, an accounting degree (CPA preferred), and experience with Alteryx and corporate accounting systems like Great Plains. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are essential.
