Senior Technical Documentation Engineer

Harness is seeking a Senior Technical Documentation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this position, you will own the full documentation lifecycle for medium-to-large features or product areas, from discovery and planning through publication and ongoing maintenance. Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers, you will ensure that our documentation not only explains how features work but also why they exist and how they fit into broader customer journeys. Your work will be instrumental in improving content structure, flow, and usability to reduce user friction.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in technical documentation, with a proven track record of independently managing documentation for complex features or product areas. Strong written communication skills, a solid understanding of Git-based workflows, and proficiency in Markdown are essential. Experience in SaaS, cloud, DevOps, developer tools, or security product documentation is preferred.
