Senior Technical Product Owner
The Senior Technical Product Owner at Conga plays a pivotal role in bridging product management and engineering teams, focusing on the development and enhancement of Conga Composer and Conga Sign. This position is based in Bangalore, India, and reports directly to the Vice President of Product Management. In this role, the Senior Technical Product Owner is responsible for decomposing product requirements into well-scoped, technically grounded user stories with clear acceptance criteria. They serve as the primary day-to-day interface between product management and engineering scrum teams, ensuring a healthy, prioritized backlog and collaborating closely with engineering leads to identify dependencies and surface technical constraints early. Additionally, they work with the Technical Publications team to review documentation, participate in sprint ceremonies, and translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment. They should have a strong understanding of REST APIs, experience working directly with Agile/Scrum engineering teams, and excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field is required.
