SEO Outreach & Partnership Specialist

The SEO Outreach & Partnership Specialist at Canva is a pivotal role within the Organic Growth specialty and International Supergroup, focusing on enhancing Canva's presence in the Benelux region. This position involves collaborating closely with both local and global teams to develop and implement strategies that resonate with local audiences, contributing to Canva's goal of becoming a leading design platform worldwide.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing link-building campaigns, identifying priority landing pages, and setting backlink targets in collaboration with SEO leads. The specialist will research and build prospect lists, analyze competitor backlink profiles, and prioritize prospects based on relevance and authority. Additionally, the role involves writing personalized outreach emails, managing end-to-end outreach workflows, and building long-term relationships with website owners, journalists, and content creators. Monitoring link placements for compliance and reporting on progress are also essential duties.

The ideal candidate is a native Dutch speaker with business-level English proficiency and has 1-2 years of experience in link building, digital PR, or content marketing. A strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs and Google Search Console, and experience with CRM platforms are important. The role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract based in Amsterdam, with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent position.
