Shareholder Advisory Director
The Shareholder Advisory Director at SRS Acquiom serves as the primary client contact for post-closing indemnification claims and contingent consideration issues. This role involves interpreting and analyzing M&A deal agreements, actively managing responses to claims and milestone events—including litigation and arbitration—and developing strategies to resolve high-stakes disputes. The director collaborates closely with clients, external counsel, and internal teams to achieve client objectives and ensure seamless post-closing processes.
Key responsibilities include drafting deal-related correspondence, such as emails and letters, and working closely with outside legal counsel to advance client interests. The director is also expected to participate in or lead special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited U.S. law school with at least five years of active legal practice, either in-house or at a law firm, and admission to the bar of any state. They should be comfortable understanding and discussing complex written contracts and have experience with primary aspects of dispute management, including negotiation, mediation, and litigation or arbitration. Desired characteristics include experience with M&A, complex commercial, corporate, or securities matters, in-house litigation management experience, and a solution-oriented, client-focused mindset.
