SHEQ Expert - zone East

Franki Foundations, a subsidiary of the international BESIX Group, is a market leader in deep foundations in Belgium, executing over 500 projects annually across various sectors such as residential construction, industry, energy, and infrastructure. As a SHEQ Expert for the East zone, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, health, environment, and quality standards are upheld across projects in your designated region.

In collaboration with project operational leaders, you will serve as the SHEQ responsible for projects within your zone, providing support during preparation, execution, and completion phases. Your duties include analyzing incidents, proactively improving the company's SHEQ policies, advising staff on SHEQ regulations, and acting as a backup for colleagues in other zones. Additionally, you will actively contribute to shaping and promoting the SHEQ management system, lead optimization projects at the policy level, and participate in team meetings to ensure efficient communication and collaboration.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a SHEQ department, with a minimum of five years in an HSE service. Qualifications include Prevention Advisor Level 1 or 2 and basic environmental management training. Fluency in Dutch and French is required, with English being a plus. Essential competencies encompass knowledge of welfare law and environmental management, familiarity with management systems (ISO, VCA, CO2 performance ladder, CSRD), proficiency in office tools, and strong analytical, initiative-taking, and communication skills. A valid driver's license (Category B) is also necessary.
