Site Reliability Engineer
Fireblocks is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join its newly established, mission-critical SRE team. This team is dedicated to ensuring the reliability and performance of Fireblocks' digital asset custody and settlement platform, which serves major financial institutions and Web3 companies worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for improving and establishing monitoring, alerting, and observability of services using a wide range of tools. You will handle critical alerts and incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and collaborate with R&D and Support teams to enhance system availability. Additionally, you will document solutions in runbooks and automate workflows using Python, Ansible, ArgoCD, and shell scripts.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role within a SaaS environment. Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash is required, along with experience in alerting and monitoring systems like DataDog, Splunk, New Relic, or Prometheus. A strong background in Linux systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, ArgoCD), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) is essential.
Fireblocks offers a competitive base salary range of $150,000 to $185,000, which is one component of the total compensation package.
