Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Experian is seeking a dedicated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Information Technology & Systems department. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our hybrid infrastructure, supporting our mission to deliver innovative data and technology solutions across various industries.

As an SRE, you will manage and optimize server infrastructures across hybrid environments, including AWS and VMware. Your responsibilities will encompass configuring, patching, and monitoring Windows and Linux operating systems, implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and Ansible, and driving automation to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will monitor system health, support incident responses, and collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Security, and Automation teams to ensure compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud operations, with hands-on expertise in managing server operating systems. Familiarity with AWS services and hybrid cloud environments is essential, along with experience in Infrastructure as Code and automation tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, inclusive team environment are also crucial.
