Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Riskified, you will be an integral part of our high-impact R&D team, responsible for managing the infrastructure that underpins our real-time decision-making processes. Riskified is a leading company that empowers businesses to enhance their e-commerce growth by mitigating risks associated with online transactions. Our AI-powered fraud and risk intelligence platform analyzes vast amounts of data to provide real-time decisions and robust identity-based insights, serving clients across various industries.
In this role, you will design, build, and manage our development and production cloud-native infrastructure in AWS. Your responsibilities will include establishing and evolving standards for microservices, building and maintaining our product release workflow and continuous integration/delivery systems, and continuously improving our system's visibility through advanced monitoring and log analytics. Additionally, you will implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation, while developing internal tools to enhance developer productivity.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as an SRE or DevOps engineer, with deep cloud experience, preferably in AWS, and strong Infrastructure as Code skills. Proficiency in Kubernetes in production environments, familiarity with service meshes like Istio or Linkerd, and experience with provisioning tools such as Karpenter are essential. Observability expertise with modern monitoring and log analytics tools, along with at least one year of programming experience or demonstrable programming proficiency, is required. Experience in Go or Node.js is a significant advantage, as is a history of open-source involvement.
