Snr. Employee Relations Partner
The Senior Employee Relations Partner at KnowBe4 is a pivotal role within the People team, focusing on fostering a high-performance culture and mitigating organizational risks across various business sectors. This position serves as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for U.S. People Managers, addressing disciplinary matters, workplace conflicts, and employee grievances. The role involves close collaboration with Employment Legal, HR Business Partners, and Senior Executives to deliver legally sound, strategic solutions to critical workforce issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include independently leading and managing complex, sensitive workplace investigations from start to finish, covering allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, policy breaches, and workplace violence. The Senior Employee Relations Partner is also tasked with proactively monitoring and analyzing employee relations metrics, ticket trends, and attrition data within the HRIS to design targeted risk-mitigation strategies. Additionally, the role involves drafting and executing disciplinary actions, up to and including terminations, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation within the HRIS.
Candidates should possess over five years of overall HR experience, with a minimum of three years dedicated specifically to Employee Relations, including a proven track record of leading complex U.S.-based investigations from start to finish. A deep understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws—including Title VII, ADA, and ADEA—is essential, along with direct experience partnering with employment legal counsel. Exceptional documentation practices, a thorough understanding of dispute resolution methodologies, and strong critical thinking skills are also required.
