Software Developer (Algorithmic Engineering)

Eqvilent is seeking a Junior Quantitative Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves implementing efficient trading algorithms and collaborating closely with the Quantitative Research team to deliver impactful solutions. The position offers fast feedback loops and tangible results, contributing significantly to the company's success.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-performance trading algorithms that balance performance and ease of maintenance. The role requires writing asynchronous, template-based, network, and thread-safe code, as well as engaging in close communication with the Quantitative Research team to address technical tasks effectively.

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, with a background in competitive programming. Experience with C or C++ is essential, along with an understanding of Linux system internals and networking. Proficiency in written and spoken English is necessary to work effectively in our international environment.

Preferred qualifications include expertise in low-latency or real-time development with sub-microsecond latency, familiarity with lock-free containers and associated design patterns, and knowledge of CUDA. These skills will enhance the candidate's ability to contribute to our cutting-edge technology initiatives.
