Software Developer

Eqvilent is seeking a Software Developer to join our dynamic team focused on low and ultra-low latency trading platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment, contributing to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of our high-performance trading systems.

Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing our low-latency trading platform, understanding system requirements and limitations, and writing asynchronous, template-based, network, and thread-safe code. The developer will work closely with the Team Lead, who actively collaborates with the team to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++. They should perform well in remote or hybrid teams with variable, project-based responsibilities. Preferred qualifications include expertise in low-latency or real-time development with sub-microsecond latency, experience with lock-free containers, C programming knowledge (including writing Linux drivers and working with the core), and a good understanding of Linux system internals and networking.
