Software Engineer 2 - Full Stack
Skyscanner is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Theseus team, responsible for the Booking Panel—the final interface travelers interact with before proceeding to partner sites. This role offers the opportunity to significantly influence user experience and conversion rates by enhancing this critical component of the travel booking process.
In this position, you will develop and maintain high-impact frontend features using React and TypeScript, ensuring clear communication of complex pricing and trust signals. Collaboration with backend Java systems is essential to integrate these features seamlessly. Additionally, you will work closely with AI-driven components, contributing to the development of well-defined behaviors and handling complex flows. Your responsibilities will also include designing and executing experiments to improve conversion rates and user trust, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance technical feasibility with business objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses strong experience with TypeScript, React, and modern web engineering practices. A keen interest in AI-enabled systems and the ability to navigate complex, evolving problem spaces are essential.
