Software Engineer

Ceribell, Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on backend development to join our dynamic team in Sunnyvale, CA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to building the next generation of EEG web applications that support critical medical use cases, enhancing the diagnosis and management of patients with serious neurological conditions.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for our EEG Portal application, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with healthcare standards. Your responsibilities will include implementing new features to support clinical and research requirements, optimizing database performance, developing secure RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party services to enhance functionality.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 2-5 years of backend development experience. Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, Node.js, Ruby, and SQL is required, along with experience in designing and deploying RESTful APIs. Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and working with ML/AI teams is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive compensation range of $120,000 - $150,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
