Software Engineer III - Edge Computing
The Senior Edge Computing Engineer at Voyager Technologies is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the performance of our deployed systems. This position involves developing and optimizing high-throughput processing pipelines using Modern C++ and GPU-accelerated frameworks such as CUDA, Holoscan, and ROCm. The engineer will work across diverse hardware platforms, from multi-GPU rackmount servers to power-constrained embedded modules, ensuring efficient real-time data processing.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing high-performance computing solutions, writing and optimizing custom GPU kernels for signal processing, profiling full-stack software to identify and resolve CPU/GPU bottlenecks, and managing build and deployment pipelines for embedded Linux operating systems. The role also involves creating hardware abstraction layers to ensure compatibility across various radio and sensor platforms.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, U.S. citizenship due to program security requirements, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance. Required experience includes 4 to 7 years in software engineering design, proven leadership in structured software product development environments, and strong organizational and technical communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, a background in Digital Signal Processing or RF systems, and experience with kernel-bypass networking technologies.
