Software Engineer in Test (Cypress)

Diligent Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer in Test specializing in Cypress to join our dynamic team in London, England. In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute both automated and manual tests for our modern SaaS applications. Your primary focus will be on enhancing web quality, ensuring robust regression coverage, and validating release readiness. By leveraging your expertise in Cypress, you will build and maintain stable and maintainable automated test suites, while also performing manual acceptance testing for new features and user stories within agile sprints.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in software testing, including at least 2 years in test automation. Proficiency in automating end-to-end test cases using TypeScript and Cypress is essential. Additionally, experience with API-level testing in a microservices architecture, practical knowledge of CI/CD tools, and strong communication skills are required. A foundational understanding of how AI can be applied to software engineering and testing is also desirable.
