Software Engineering Manager (Hands On)
As a Software Engineering Manager at Diligent Corporation, you will lead a dynamic team of engineers dedicated to building secure and scalable microservices and APIs using TypeScript and AWS. Additionally, you will enhance team processes, remove blockers, and reinforce strong engineering practices to maintain a healthy delivery environment.
The ideal candidate possesses at least eight years of software engineering experience, including leadership roles in agile product environments. Proficiency in managing teams that develop cloud-native microservices in AWS is essential. A solid technical background in backend engineering with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores is required. Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, incident support, and modern engineering practices such as Docker-based workflows and infrastructure as code is also important. A practical understanding of AI-enabled engineering and product use cases, including considerations like privacy, security, bias, governance, and cost, is highly valued.
