Solutions Engineer (AI Enterprise SaaS)
The Solutions Engineer at EvolutionIQ will serve as the dedicated owner of data onboarding, relationships, maintenance, and health. This role involves aligning priorities with Client Services schedules while coordinating across Product, Engineering, and Sales teams. The Solutions Engineer will centralize validation of client data within Solutions Engineering, partnering with Engineering to develop tools and processes that enhance data quality and streamline validation operations. By elevating data management at EvolutionIQ, the Solutions Engineer will collaborate with Product to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risks to time-to-value and overall project health. Clients will benefit from the Solutions Engineer's expertise in bridging infrastructure gaps and integrating multiple systems to keep implementations on track. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will serve as the key technical liaison, troubleshooting, building custom workarounds, and reducing the need for Product and Engineering teams to engage directly with clients.
Key responsibilities include leading data onboarding and data transfer for client implementations, developing and documenting data onboarding requirements and processes, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to deliver scalable data onboarding and data health solutions. The Solutions Engineer will contribute to the design, cleanup, and maintenance of client data and data architecture for EvolutionIQ's data ingestion processes. Staying current and providing feedback on systems to monitor and improve client data health in collaboration with Client Services and Product teams is also essential. The role involves collaborating closely with Sales to provide technical and operational guidance during the sales cycle, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Client Services teams to support client custom integrations and scope custom product requests, and providing additional implementation support to ensure clients can successfully utilize all product features and functionality. Identifying opportunities for tools and automation to scale workflows for EvolutionIQ's Client Services and other teams, providing technical triage and escalation oversight across all product modules to client business and technical stakeholders as needed, and promoting data fluency across EvolutionIQ are also part of the role.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering or Solutions Architect capacity across enterprise B2B SaaS for a high-growth technology company. Proven experience as a business and technical leader for complex and sophisticated data solutions for enterprise clients is essential. Deep familiarity with data tools including Pandas, Google BigQuery, DBT, and Data Analytics/BI reporting tools such as Looker or Looker Studio is required. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-starter who can own and elevate functions in a fast-paced, agile startup environment. A dedicated problem solver who can leverage technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to find creative solutions is sought. Superb written and oral communication skills, excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with RDBMS, database schema concepts, and ETL pipelines are important. Familiarity with AI/ML methodologies is a plus.
