Workers Comp, Lost Time Claims Subject Matter Expert (User Research) - AI SaaS
EvolutionIQ is seeking a Workers' Compensation Lost Time Claims Subject Matter Expert to collaborate with our Product and Engineering teams in developing an AI-based product aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of Workers' Compensation Adjusters. This role involves providing expert validation, feedback, and real-world context to ensure the product's features and AI-generated outputs meet the practical needs of claims professionals.
Key responsibilities include critically assessing the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated summaries and recommendations against source medical documents, actively evaluating pre-release product features, accurately labeling medical information within insurance claims data, editing large language model prompts based on claims-handling expertise, providing detailed feedback on product integration into existing workflows, and offering constructive criticism on the user interface and overall user experience.
The ideal candidate will have 1-5+ years of recent, hands-on experience as a Workers' Compensation Lost Time Claims Adjuster with a focus on bodily injury or liability. Candidates should be comfortable working with computers and learning new software applications, possess exceptional critical thinking skills to evaluate complex documentation, have excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate feedback clearly to non-claims audiences, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
This opportunity is part of a paid user research project focused on Workers’ Compensation claims expertise. Compensation will vary based on participation level, experience, and scope of involvement, with hours potentially increasing depending on business needs.
