Special Servicing Associate III
The Special Servicing Associate III at Point Digital Finance, Inc. is a pivotal role within the Servicing team, focusing on managing defaulted Home Equity Investments (HEIs). This position requires a deep understanding of loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure processes to effectively assist homeowners and optimize investor recovery. Key responsibilities include analyzing complex default cases, developing strategic recovery solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders such as customers, investors, attorneys, and subservicers. The associate will oversee subservicer performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate documentation. Additionally, the role involves training team members on new policies and procedures, conducting audits, and providing feedback to improve workflows and servicing systems.
Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in mortgage, HELOC, or HEI servicing, with a focus on default management and loss mitigation. Expertise in foreclosure processes, title report interpretation, and subservicer oversight is essential. A strong grasp of mortgage servicing regulations, analytical skills for developing loss mitigation plans, and excellent communication abilities are also required. A bachelor's degree is mandatory for this position.
