The Sr. Manager, Compensation at Viant Technology is a pivotal role responsible for executing the company's compensation functions. This position involves managing compensation cycles, conducting benchmarking, analyzing internal equity, ensuring census accuracy, and maintaining data integrity across all systems. The role requires close collaboration with the Sr. Director of Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Finance to uphold disciplined pay practices and reliable headcount and compensation forecasting.

Key responsibilities include overseeing annual merit, bonus, and equity cycles from start to finish, which encompasses data preparation, audits, template creation, modeling, and providing support to managers. The role also involves building, maintaining, and reconciling compensation files for compensation cycles and executive reviews. Additionally, the Sr. Manager will conduct market pricing, maintain job architecture and salary bands, evaluate new job requests, and ensure consistent leveling and pricing across various functions and locations.

The ideal candidate should possess 4 to 7+ years of experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, or Finance/FP&A with exposure to compensation practices. Strong skills in compensation analysis, modeling, benchmarking, and data accuracy are essential. A solid understanding of compensation best practices, job leveling, pay equity, and salary structures is required. Proficiency in Excel and comfort with manipulating large datasets are necessary. Experience partnering with HRIS teams, with familiarity in systems such as ADP, Charthop, and Greenhouse, is a plus. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to manage deadlines, maintain accuracy, operate with discretion, and possess strong communication skills to explain compensation concepts to managers and leaders.

Viant Technology offers a comprehensive benefits package, including fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. The base compensation range for this role is $165,000 to $185,000 annually. Final title and compensation will be determined based on factors such as work experience and education.
