Sr. Paralegal
Pinterest is seeking an experienced and autonomous Senior Paralegal to support its high-volume, fast-paced litigation docket. This role is primarily focused on litigation support, with significant responsibility for litigation operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will manage substantive paralegal work across a range of matters, including case management, discovery coordination, legal holds, subpoenas, and related litigation support, while also improving processes, tools, and workflows to enhance the team's effectiveness and scalability.
Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of litigation and pre-litigation matters by maintaining organized case files, calendars, and documentation. The Senior Paralegal will support case management from intake through resolution, including matter tracking, file management, status updates, and concise matter summaries for attorneys. Additionally, they will serve as a key point of contact with outside counsel on case logistics, deadlines, pleadings, filings, and status reporting. The role also involves independently managing key litigation support workflows related to fact development and discovery, such as document collections, technical data gathering, review coordination, production tracking, and related documentation.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 3+ years of experience supporting legal functions in a demanding and innovative environment. Candidates should have familiarity with, or the ability to quickly master, project management and organizational tools. Exceptional judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential, as well as impeccable integrity. A proven track record of developing practical solutions to novel problems and taking the initiative to implement those solutions is highly valued. The ability to work under pressure, identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and independently is crucial. Excellent communication and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to build and scale programs and lead cross-functional initiatives, are also required.
The base salary range for this position is $98,561 to $202,918 USD, with eligibility for equity. Final salary is based on factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, and particular skills and expertise.
