Sr. Platform Engineer I
NinjaTrader is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer I to join our Platform Engineering team, focusing on enhancing the developer experience. In this role, you will design and build tools, workflows, and best practices that improve productivity across the organization. Your contributions will directly influence how teams build, test, deploy, and operate software, ensuring efficiency and consistency across our web, mobile, desktop, and trading platforms.
Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining service creation templates, managing developer onboarding workflows, and establishing CI/CD pipeline standards. You will design release automation patterns, develop internal platform portals, and create reusable infrastructure modules. Additionally, you will enable product engineering teams to independently provision resources and deploy features, while embedding security and compliance requirements into platform tooling and pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or developer tooling roles, with a strong focus on developer experience. Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, expertise with Kubernetes and Docker, and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Helm are essential. Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills are also required.
NinjaTrader offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $170,000 annually, along with an annual target bonus of up to 12%.
