Sr Principal SDET

The Senior Principal Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at OneTrust plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and reliability of our software products. This position involves close collaboration with product teams to develop robust automation scripts and performance tests that align with acceptance criteria. Key responsibilities include participating in daily scrums, translating manual test cases into automated tests, and maintaining the automation test suite. The SDET will evaluate build quality through continuous deployment environments, define test data for functional and non-functional requirements, and collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve issues. Additionally, the role involves mentoring less experienced team members and staying current on modern software development best practices.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with over 10 years of experience as a developer, automation engineer, or SDET. Proficiency in Java, strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, and experience with tools like Cucumber, JUnit, and Selenium are essential. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms like Azure is also required. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are crucial for success in this role.
