The Staff Accountant at OneTrust plays a pivotal role within the Corporate Accounting team, focusing primarily on payroll accounting while contributing to broader general accounting activities. This position is integral to maintaining accurate, timely, and scalable corporate accounting processes as the company continues its global expansion. Key responsibilities include supporting the posting of global payroll journal entries and related accruals, reconciling payroll-related balance sheet accounts, and assisting with payroll-related flux analysis. The Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with Payroll, HR, and Compensation & Benefits teams to ensure data integrity and completeness. Additional duties involve reviewing and maintaining proper coding of transactions, preparing journal entries for various corporate accounting areas, performing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The role also entails developing and implementing process improvements, documenting standard operating procedures, and supporting external audit requirements.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and have over three years of experience in accounting and/or audit, preferably with public, multinational companies. Experience in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations is essential. Proficiency with Workday Financials is considered a plus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
