Staff Product Designer
Garner Health is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our Growth team, focusing on enhancing member acquisition, onboarding, and engagement. This role involves developing core experiences such as onboarding flows, notification systems, and app architecture, contributing to our mission of transforming the healthcare economy by delivering high-quality and affordable care for all.
Key responsibilities include owning the user experience of Garner's app architecture and core systems, evolving our design system to ensure a consistent and usable app experience, collaborating across teams to facilitate the adoption of design standards, leading UX for growth projects from definition through launch, partnering with product and engineering teams to shape strategy and ensure quality, and developing a deep understanding of our members' needs to create seamless healthcare products.
The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in shipping consumer-facing products, including mobile applications on iOS and/or Android, proven experience in developing and managing design systems, a refined aesthetic sense with a preference for simple and clean experiences, high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a user-focused approach to design, the ability to provide constructive feedback, and a desire to contribute to our mission of improving the healthcare system.
This role is based in our New York City office, with a requirement to work in the office three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The target salary range for this position is $239,000 - $270,000, with eligibility to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health, and more.
