Staff Software Engineer- AI
As a Staff Software Engineer at Conga, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and generative AI-based products. This position involves leading complex projects, driving technical innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of generative AI solutions, encompassing data collection, model training, deployment, and optimization. You will take ownership of architectural and technical decisions for AI/ML projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices and high standards of technical excellence. Additionally, you will lead the execution and delivery of features, manage project scope and timelines, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project completion.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of professional software development experience, including significant experience with AI/ML or generative AI applications. A strong background in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery is essential. Proficiency with cloud technologies like GCP, AWS, or Azure, as well as experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, is required. Familiarity with GenAI frameworks, MLOps, and AI lifecycle management, along with hands-on experience with advanced machine learning algorithms, will be advantageous. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
