As a Staff Software Engineer for the Customer Service technology stack at ezCater, you will lead the development of a modern, AI-enabled customer service platform integrated with Salesforce Service Cloud. This role is pivotal in enhancing the customer experience from order creation to delivery, aligning with ezCater's mission to provide exceptional service. You will collaborate closely with Principal Engineers, Product Managers, and Operations stakeholders to design and implement this new architecture.

Your primary responsibilities include developing the technical architecture and roadmap for transforming the customer service tech stack, establishing architectural standards and best practices, and setting the technical strategy for integrating with Salesforce Service Cloud. You will balance quality and speed while addressing company-level priorities and provide mentorship to teammates across the organization. Additionally, you will raise the bar for software quality and architecture within the engineering team.

The ideal candidate has over seven years of professional development experience, focusing on backend technologies and building services using Go. Proven expertise in building APIs using GraphQL and REST is essential. Experience integrating with customer service software such as Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, or HubSpot is required, along with a solid understanding of Salesforce integration methods. Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and a commitment to quality documentation are also important.

The total target cash compensation for this position ranges from $185,000 to $232,000 annually, including base salary and bonus.
