This role involves close collaboration with Clinical Account Managers to identify and pursue opportunities for departmental expansion and new product launches. The position is based in the Northwest region, specifically covering Seattle and Portland, and requires approximately 70% travel.

Key responsibilities include driving new and organic growth by expanding Ceribell's presence into additional departments and indications within existing customer accounts. The Strategic Account Manager will work with Clinical Account Managers to build advocacy and champions within facilities, utilizing hospital data to validate and build interest. Additionally, the manager is responsible for upgrades and departmental expansion in the existing install base, requiring strong project management skills to support new department launches.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of recent critical care sales experience or 5 years of medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience combined with over 3 years of RN clinical experience. Experience working with multiple key stakeholders, such as physicians, management, and administration, or hospital-wide committee membership is essential. The candidate should be an excellent communicator and relationship builder, highly organized, and able to prioritize strategically. Confidence and expertise are required to effectively challenge the status quo and influence meaningful change through consensus building. Bonus points are given for start-up experience or experience working with disruptive technology, medical device experience, neuro ICU clinical experience, and sales experience.

Compensation for this role ranges from $185,000 to $325,000 USD annually, with the final offer based on the candidate's skills, education, work location, and experience. Additional benefits include performance-based incentive compensation, equity opportunities, 100% employer-paid health benefits for employees, 50% to 70% employer-paid health, dental, and vision for dependents (depending on plan selection), 100% paid life and long-term disability insurance, 401(k) with a generous company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) with a discount, monthly cell phone stipend, flexible paid time off, 13 paid holidays plus 3 company wellness days, and an excellent parental leave policy.
