Strategy Lead
The Strategy Lead at WPP Media is responsible for driving end-to-end strategic planning for a portfolio of brands, focusing on brand activations and consumer media journeys to achieve business growth objectives. This role involves collaborating with client specialist teams and external partners to conceptualize and develop partnerships, including intellectual properties, programs, platforms, and partners. The Strategy Lead will work closely with regional and local cross-functional specialist teams on planning, activation, data, and measurement to ensure alignment with the strategic roadmap.
Key responsibilities include demonstrating a strong understanding of brand challenges, consumers, cultural trends, and regional nuances; interpreting data and tool outputs to develop comprehensive briefs; interacting with diverse specialist teams to curate and enhance ideas; mentoring the team to proactively and reactively work on briefs within deadlines; and communicating emerging opportunities and best-in-class work with client teams.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of brand challenges, consumer behavior, cultural activation and partnership spaces, and regional nuances. They should possess strong analytical skills to interpret insights and data, excellent communication skills to interact with diverse teams and clients, and the ability to mentor and lead a team effectively.
