Student Trainee Corporate Antitrust
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, offers a two-month student trainee position in their Corporate Antitrust practice in Amsterdam. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in competition law within a global context.
As a student trainee, you will be fully integrated into the team, working on real cases under the guidance of a mentor and a buddy. Your responsibilities will include drafting notes, advice, and correspondence, conducting legal research, attending meetings and hearings, and translating legal documents. Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in training sessions through the Clifford Chance Academy and engage in social events within the office.
Ideal candidates are ambitious and proactive, currently in the final stages of their Dutch law studies (bachelor or master). Fluency in Dutch is required, as the role involves working with Dutch legal materials and clients. Applicants should submit a motivation letter, CV, academic transcripts, and, if applicable, an internship evaluation or reference.
The position offers a monthly stipend of €1,000, along with lunch and travel allowances (second-class public transport, unless covered by a student travel product). This compensation package is designed to support your professional development during the internship.
