Tax Operations Analyst
The Tax Operations Analyst at SRS Acquiom plays a crucial role within the Tax Operations team, focusing on validating tax reporting data, processing and remitting tax withholdings, and producing year-end tax forms. This position is integral to the Operations Department, ensuring that payees experience accurate and efficient payment processes. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Operations.
Key responsibilities include receiving, validating, and appropriately routing individual tax documents, identifying shareholder payments that require additional withholding or reporting instructions prior to disbursement, and validating deal-level tax reporting data throughout the year to ensure accurate year-end tax forms. The analyst is also tasked with interpreting data from multiple sources to identify and resolve discrepancies, implementing process improvements to enhance customer experience and departmental efficiency, and meeting unique client fulfillment requests while tracking items as needed.
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of related business experience in operations or production services, preferably within the financial services industry. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across the organization, manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Discretion is essential, as the position involves handling confidential and sensitive communications. A self-motivated, independent work ethic with strong attention to detail is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is expected. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
The position offers a salary range between $68,000 and $77,000, depending on experience level.
