The role is based in Singapore and involves leading a team of compliance officers located in both Singapore and Tokyo. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the payments or credit card industry and/or second-line compliance functions, with demonstrable experience as a people manager. Strong problem-solving capabilities, the ability to define robust processes and procedures, and a deep understanding of card network rules are essential. Candidates should also possess solid interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and merchants from varying disciplines and cultures. Comfort in addressing senior management and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization are also important.
