Viant Technology is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Technical Account Manager to serve as a strategic post-sales thought leader for our most important clients. This role sits at the intersection of technology, measurement, and client strategy, partnering closely with Sales Engineering, Account Management, and product teams to deepen relationships, elevate technical maturity, and accelerate adoption of Viant's advanced measurement and data solutions. You will play a critical role in scaling strategic accounts post-sale, translating complex technical and measurement capabilities into clear business value, and helping clients fully realize the long-term impact of Viant's platform.

As a Technical Account Manager, you will serve as a strategic technical thought leader in the post-sale lifecycle, partnering with Account Management to grow adoption, expand use cases, and retain and upsell key accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders by aligning Viant's measurement and data solutions to broader business objectives. Collaborating closely with Sales Engineering, you will ensure continuity of solution strategy from pre-sale handoff through execution and optimization. Additionally, you will lead client measurement strategy across Viant Advanced Reporting and third-party measurement solutions to improve insight quality, performance understanding, and ROI.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Account Management, Project Management, Ad Operations, or related roles. You should possess 2+ years of experience with Ad Tech platforms such as demand-side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs), Customer Data Platform (CDP), and/or clean rooms technology. A strong understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including DSPs, ad serving, programmatic buying, onboarding, and measurement, is essential. The ability to clearly articulate complex technical and measurement concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences is crucial. Proficiency in SQL (Google BigQuery preferred) and cloud-based analytics tools is also required.

Viant offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $80,000 to $105,000. In accordance with California law, this range is Viant's reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
