Technical Platform Operations Specialist
As a Technical Platform Operations Specialist at Viant Technology, you will serve as a key operational liaison, ensuring the seamless performance of Viant's products, including our Demand Side Platform (DSP). You will play a pivotal role in bridging cross-functional internal teams—such as Operations, Product, and Engineering—with external stakeholders and third-party partners. Your core responsibility is to maintain operational continuity through clear communication, technical insight, and a strong sense of urgency when addressing problems, challenges, and opportunities.
In this role, you will own day-to-day technical operations, lead troubleshooting efforts, and support campaign and platform stability. Key responsibilities include serving as the connective point between internal teams and external partners, driving the resolution of technical issues, executing and managing publisher integrations and third-party partner certifications to ensure compliance and system compatibility, providing second-level QA and platform support, and driving cross-functional projects that enhance platform stability, operational workflows, and campaign execution quality. Additionally, you will translate technical findings into clear, actionable feedback for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in ad operations, technical account management, or a related role. Familiarity with at least one ad-serving or programmatic advertising platform is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for documenting complex systems and workflows, are required. Proven ability to adopt and navigate new technologies quickly is important, along with working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript. A bachelor's degree is required.
