Technical Product Marketing Manager - Cybersecurity
Canonical is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for its security and compliance products. This role involves collaborating with product managers, engineering teams, and security experts to understand technical capabilities and translate them into compelling messaging and content. The position is remote, based in the EMEA region, and reports to the Product Marketing Lead.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing go-to-market plans, tracking competitive landscapes, and defining product differentiation. The role also involves translating technical product capabilities into clear messaging for key personas, owning campaign and content planning, and using data to optimize demand generation strategies. Additionally, the manager will plan events, webinars, and support messaging for paid and social media promotions.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and open source, strong storytelling skills, a growth mindset, and excellent communication abilities. Preferred qualifications include a technical understanding of cybersecurity, a data-driven mindset, experience in product marketing for enterprise software, and comfort working cross-functionally with various teams.
