Technical Project Manager
Rush Street Interactive (RSI) is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex initiatives across our gambling platform, focusing on core systems such as KYC, payments, geolocation, and compliance-critical user journeys. This role is integral to ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant execution across the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), collaborating closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Product teams.
The Technical Project Manager will lead platform-focused initiatives, coordinating across multiple departments to ensure seamless execution of user-critical platform capabilities. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional and integration-heavy projects, driving execution across concurrent initiatives, proactively identifying and mitigating delivery risks, and maintaining transparency through clear reporting and documentation.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering technical or infrastructure-heavy projects is required. Experience in regulated environments such as fintech, payments, gaming, or compliance-driven platforms is highly desirable. Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and platform architecture concepts, along with proficiency in Agile or hybrid delivery models and tools like Jira and Confluence, is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders are also important.
