Technical Writer

Recorded Future is seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to join its Payment Fraud Intelligence team. This role involves collaborating with analysts to produce high-quality intelligence reports and technical documentation, ensuring complex cyber intelligence information is accessible to diverse audiences. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering world-class intelligence to Recorded Future's clients.

Key responsibilities include drafting, refining, and finalizing intelligence reports and technical product documentation in collaboration with subject matter experts. The Technical Writer will adapt threat intelligence findings into clear content suitable for executive, technical, and non-technical stakeholders. Additional duties encompass editing reports for style and grammar, creating visuals and infographics, developing and maintaining editorial style guides, and publishing intelligence reports to client-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and project management skills, with at least three years of professional writing experience. A bachelor's degree in journalism or English is required. The candidate should be organized, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, and have an understanding of intelligence standards. While knowledge of cyber threat intelligence and fraud prevention is advantageous, applicants with a demonstrated ability and desire to develop subject matter expertise will also be considered. Fluency in Chinese, Russian, or Ukrainian is a plus but not mandatory.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $66,000 to $99,000 annually. Compensation is determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
