WPP Media is seeking a seasoned e-Commerce Consultant to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan. As part of WPP's global media collective, we leverage cutting-edge media intelligence and data solutions to drive transformational growth for our clients. This role focuses on enhancing our e-Commerce services by collaborating with agencies and regional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive consultation and training programs.
The e-Commerce Consultant will be responsible for consulting with agencies to refine commercial models for e-Commerce services, planning and conducting client-focused consultation services and training, and collaborating with regional teams to utilize existing resources for service development. Additionally, the role involves identifying and sourcing local external e-Commerce or mar-tech vendors to enhance WPP Media's e-Commerce service capabilities, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key e-Commerce platforms.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience with e-Commerce platforms, agencies, or businesses where the primary revenue stream is e-Commerce-based. Experience in e-Commerce platform operations, both in and e-retailer environments, is highly preferred. The candidate should also have experience in developing business plans and strategies, consulting and training clients, analyzing business issues, and tracking performance across multiple operational pillars. Proficiency in performance marketing and analytics, or e-Commerce-specific measurement solutions, is essential. Strong presentation skills, report production, and data analytics capabilities under time constraints are required. Soft skills such as agile project management, complex problem-solving, a hands-on entrepreneurial spirit, and strong interpersonal skills are also important.
