Stoke Space is seeking a Test Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Kent, Washington. This role involves collaborating with engineers and technicians to test rocket components, design and build test facilities, and operate and maintain them efficiently. The position requires hands-on work with hardware and software, mechanical, fluid, and electrical systems. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, self-direct, and learn on the fly.

Key responsibilities include managing the environmental test lab by procuring, setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting vibration tables, thermal chambers, and thermal vacuum chambers. The role also involves designing and procuring test fixturing, managing sound solutions, training operators, and driving continuous process improvements. Additional duties encompass building, operating, and troubleshooting complex fluid systems for test applications, integrating and operating critical test instrumentation, enabling development, qualification, and acceptance testing of Stoke components, designing hardware systems in CAD, writing test procedures, performing hazard and test data analysis, and safely operating high-pressure and cryogenic systems.

Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in a design and test environment, with a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related field. A strong command of engineering fundamentals is essential, along with deep experience testing and operating complex fluid systems and a background in component selection for test stands. Proven hands-on experience selecting, configuring, and troubleshooting test instrumentation is required. A passion for building high-quality products, a positive and humble attitude, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks are important. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, and candidates must be willing to work onsite in Kent, WA.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $129,150 to $193,620 annually, depending on experience and skill level.
