Therapy Development Representative - Boston, MA (Metro)

Inspire Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Therapy Development Representative in the Boston, MA metro area to enhance the adoption of their FDA-approved Inspire therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). This role involves educating healthcare providers, expanding referral networks, and supporting territory managers to increase patient conversion rates. The company is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative sleep solutions.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing customer targeting strategies, educating primary care physicians and specialists about Inspire therapy, and initiating referral growth initiatives. The representative will also support community education programs, collaborate with territory managers to deepen physician engagement, and conduct market assessments to identify growth opportunities. Additional duties involve maintaining CRM records, providing clinical coverage as needed, and ensuring compliance with quality system requirements.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years of direct experience with Inspire therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. The role requires the ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays, and the physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
